Administrative Support IV – Operational Support

Reporting to the Manager, Operational Support, Health Link, the incumbent will be responsible for duties related to workforce management and provide support to the Workforce Management team at Health Link.

Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the schedules of approx.

165 staff through working with staff scheduling department and ESP, including timekeeping and payroll.

Other duties include general support services such as filing, photo copying, provincial reporting and database management, etc.

Your solid knowledge of Alberta Health Services systems, computer systems, and computer applications will enable you to meet tight timelines.

Your strong organizational skills and ability to problem solve will allow you to manage multiple competing priorities in a timely manner.

Strong knowledge of Excel, E-people, ESP, time entry and scheduling is an asset.

Description: As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.

Additional Required Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, supplemented by a post secondary Secretarial or Administrative Support certificate and at least 2
– 3 years working in an office setting, with progressively responsible experience delivering support to managers.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is required with certification being an asset.

The successful candidate must have a minimum typing speed 55 WPM.

Possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills (Contact centre experience is an asset).

Ability to work independently with confidence, efficiency, and accuracy under pressure.

Ability to recognize potential errors and provide solutions; troubleshooting skills required.

Fast and accurate data entry skills with attention to detail required.

Preferred Qualifications: Have a strong knowledge of office policies and procedures.

Well developed organizational skills.

Dedicated to quality improvement.

Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting.

Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications.

Ability to deal with varied and diverse issues/groups/individuals.
