As an Administrative Assistant in Garaga’s HR Department, you will: Pre-qualify resumes received and conduct telephone interviews to screen candidates for prerequisites Collect documents from new employees and send the relevant forms to the Payroll Department Administer and update computerized personnel files Provide support and communicate information on programs and policies to production employees in accordance with policies, procedures and the current collective agreement Participate in the administrative management of WSIB claims and group insurance for production employees Coordinate and participate in workplace prevention activities Participate in various HR projects Carry out any other related tasks that may contribute to the smooth operation of the department.

Are You the Administrative Assistant of our HR Department dreams?

High school diploma with work-related experience or College diploma Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Able to maintain a professional, courteous and diplomatic level of communication at all times, whether by telephone, email or in person Able to work independently and to adapt Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality Basic knowledge of human resources: an asset Good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) IMPORTANT Diversity.
