– Vaughan, Ontario Full Time Permanent Position Rôle et responsabilités Do you have at least 3 years of hands-on working experience as an Administrative Assistant in the Manufacturing or Logistics industry?

Our Client is looking for a proactive Administrative Assistant to join their team in Vaughan, Ontario.

The successful candidate will support the Operations and the Multi-Plant Manager as well as to contribute to a co-operative work environment where fairness, equity and non-discriminatory practices are the standard.

Answer incoming calls; deal with people coming in through at the main entrance.

Process courier & shipments Process purchase orders Purchase office supplies Process Accounts Payable Plant contact for Scheduler/Inventory Planner Document training/assist with safety and regulatory training sessions (LMS) Document SOS program Follow Company safety rules and ensure that all procedures under the Occupational Health and Safety Act are being followed.

All workplace hazards and unsafe work behaviour are taken care of as soon as an employee has mentioned them.

Complete monthly safety inspections and participate in monthly JHSC meetings Typing Health & Safety Meetings Coordinate all filing for Operations Other duties as assigned PLEASE NOTE: If you are having problems applying through the portal, please send resume directly to Exigences et expériences Post Secondary Education in Business Administration with 3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing industry.

Experience in Logistics and Customer Service as asset.

Flexible and self-motivated with strong organizational, detail-oriented, multitasking, and administrative skills.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously, as required.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to multi-task efficiently.

Coachable; Professional; Flexible schedule; Approachable; Quick learner; and Self-motivated.

Excellent working knowledge and ability to navigate a PC windows environment, including shared drives.

Strong skills and experience using Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, & Excel) including JDE would be an asset.

Ability to learn new software quickly and willingness to continuously develop technology skills.

Demonstrates good and safe work habits and have a clean working environment.
