About this opportunity The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, iTero position plays a key support role within the North America FP&A team, reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, Canada from our downtown Toronto office.

This role is also the key business partner to the iTero National Sales Director for Canada.

This individual is responsible for various volume, revenue and ASP reporting and analyses including but not limited to ongoing volume reporting, budget vs.

actual variance analyses, management reporting, segmentation analyses and ad-hoc projects.

The Sr Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will report, analyze, and interpret sales and cost data and business metrics related to the Canadian Commercial organizations.

The incumbent will be responsible for the identification and analysis of variances including the management of risks and opportunities to deliver on financial commitments and will perform planning updates and prepare presentation slides for management review.

Supporting the month-end and quarter-end close periods, the incumbent will also perform financial modeling of proposed Align commercial initiatives to understand their impact on future revenue and cost.

In this role, you will… Deliver on company plan commitments applying analysis and insights to model and execute the Align P&L including Volume, Revenue, Gross Profit and Operating expenses Lead the Canadian wide budget/latest estimate process including ongoing transformation initiatives to improve process efficiencies, capabilities and controls (including sales phasing, segmentation and conversion ratios) to build accurate plans.

For volume and revenue modelling support the month-end close, quarter-end close, forecasting, and annual planning.

Identify and explain variances to management and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

Partner closely with the Americas FP&A team in the US head office to support the rollup of Canada’s results into Americas level reporting for executive presentation and review.

Partner with Analytics in the monthly, quarterly and full year volume and revenue forecast process; enhancing forecasting rigor and achieving accuracy KPI’s Demonstrate initiative to set-up new processes to support commercial decision-making.

Work in close partnership with Analytics and Commercial teams to analyze sales segments (customer, channel, product) and generate insights Collaborate and gain buy-in from channel sales leaders to establish quarterly sales quotas Partner with internal teams to analyze ROI and investment decisions including but not limited to Marketing programs, education and salesforce productivity metrics Manage volume forecasts and connect with Global manufacturing providing required lead times to optimize supply.

Develop tracking metrics to assess the impact of financial enablement tools to overcome customer financing barriers.

Build and foster positive relationships with partners, utilizing a consultative and collaborative approach with the common goal of growing the business and providing superior customer experience.

Develop strong relationships with local Senior Management and local Sales management Handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizes tasks based on organizational need and judgment, and handles working independently while ensuring to meet all key deliverables.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field Preference for strong background in Management Analytics Minimum 6 years of finance experience, with preference in FP&A preferably supporting Sales or Marketing Preference for industry experience in medical devices, pharma, or packaged goods Minimum 2 years of experience in administration of cloud based planning tools; with proven experience in major ERP software (preferably SAP) and BI reporting (Business Objects), and experience with planning systems (Planful/Host Analytics/CPM).

Possess exceptional computer system skills to analyze, interpret and communicate data to support decision-making including Excel capabilities including creating automated models and workbooks using formulas, look-ups, and pivot table Proven analytical skills, and proven track record of success in building models in MS Excel and databases required; demonstrating a superior understanding of success drivers and related outcomes.

Ability to problem solve, provide clear recommendations and present effectively to support action as needed.

Unwavering self-initiative and drive for results; demonstrating the bias to take action & maintain ownership of projects and drive for results through to post-delivery analysis Solid communication skills, in written, verbal and presentation formats, demonstrating the ability to synthesize and deliver complex information with clarity and diplomacy Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks demonstrating an attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and time management that fuels ability to meet all key deadlines with high quality deliverables Strong focus on teamwork and a proven experience building and leveraging relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners Proven capability to navigate through change and operate with speed and agility Flexibility for occasional travel, both local and within North America required (estimated at 10%) Legally entitled to work in Canada and travel to the US English language proficiency skill requirements Sound like a good fit?
