Senior Director, Risk Analytics

To learn more about CIBC, please visit Job Description What You’ll Be Doing The Specialized products team will focus on developing credit risk strategies for new and existing accounts, specifically for Simplii Credit Cards, Simplii Unsecured Lines and Collection Strategies for all unsecured portfolios.

There are three strategic areas within Account Management that will require oversight
– Limit Management/Pricing, Authorizations/Over Limit and Collections/Re-instatement.

For the new account origination strategies focus will be to continue to enhance approval rates, automation rates and pre-approved campaigns to help drive business value.

In addition to automated credit policies managed by Risk platforms, Risk Management provides manual policies and risk criteria to govern risk decisions made by Operations and Product.

As part of the mandate, there will also be accountability to develop collection strategies to help support the CAM operation to increase agent effectiveness and create loan loss benefits.

The incumbent is also responsible for developing short and long-term plans that addresses the needs of the internal stakeholders, and external partners.

This includes optimizing the use of leading edge tools with advanced analytical techniques.
