Senior Account Manager, Capital Markets

Millesime is currently looking for a Senior Account Manager, Capital Markets in Toronto/Mississauga. Our client, the equipment finance division of a bank, provides commercial/corporate leasing and financing products to small, middle-market and large corporate companies with equipment needs and provides term loans, equipment leases, vendor finance programs and manufacturer finance programs.


The candidate will provide support for the Capital Markets group and more specifically in Syndication, gaining new skills and insight through their expertise and guidance. In this role, you will have exposure to a variety of industries, from manufacturing and retail through to transportation and construction.


  • Applying your skills in a collaborative, team-driven environment, you will assume overall responsibility for credit analysis, portfolio performance tracking & reporting, as well as various administration duties;
  • Reporting to the Senior Vice President Capital Markets, this role will be responsible for establishing new business relationships with North American banks and other financial institutions;
  • Generate acquisition opportunities and build on an established market network;
  • Negotiating contractual obligations with North American Banks and other financial institution for acquisitions and for lease and loan syndication;
  • Administer Client files including after sales service;
  • Carry out analyses for acquisitions and syndications;
  • Develop and maintain Client relationships;
  • Establish a solicitation program to ensure that volume and profitability objectives are attained as projected; 
  • Collaborate with the Pricing, Risk and Sales teams to ensure a competitive product offering.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, MBA, C.A. or CFA designation, with 5+ years lending experience;
  • Solid experience in business development and financial analysis;
  • Strong network of existing relationships with various financial institutions;
  • Strong network of existing relationships with various financial institutions;
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of lease and loan products, pricing, credit underwriting, and documentation processes;
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze financial metrics;
  • Customer service focus with the ability to balance needs of clients, shareholders, and team members;
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills;
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
