– 2020/2021 UHN Immunization Campaign Site: UHN
– All sites Department: Occupational Health & Safety Reports to: Manager Hours: 12-hr shifts available; up to 37.5 hours Status: Temporary; (up to 6 months period) Must be available for 12 hour shifts including some weekends.

Must be able to start immediately.

Pay: At rate relative to the discipline and years of clinical experience Opportunity to join the Occupational Health Immunization team.

Key responsibilities: Support large-scale immunization program in response to Covid -19 Pandemic.

Safely administer vaccine according to standardized protocol Records details of the vaccine dose and lot number within an electronic system Responds to patient queries and concerns in a professional, respectful and courteous way.

Works with the site supervisor to maximize the efficiency of the immunization areas.

Performs other duties as required.

Training and relevant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided.

PPE must be worn at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be licensed to practice and in good standing as a regulated health care provider BCLS certification required IM injection experience required Effective verbal communication skills Detail oriented Collaborative and works well within a team environment Effective at problem solving Effective subjective and physical assessment skills to monitor for adverse reaction; seeks assistance and escalates as per protocol Must be ENTHUSIASTIC and ENGAGING Closing Date: Until filled University Health Network thanks all applicants, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
