Job Description Manulife Investment Management’s head of retail and institutional marketing in Canada will be responsible for driving the institutional and retail marketing strategy and initiatives in Canada.

Reporting to the head of marketing, Canada for Manulife Investment Management this leader will coordinate with cross functional teams to develop and execute campaigns to elevate the Manulife Investment Management brand, position the firm as a thought leader, and help meet our key performance indicators.

Our Institutional business is a leading provider of public and private asset solutions across a range of asset classes and geographies.

Our retail investments business consists of an $80B provider of investment solutions for individual investors and families primarily through advisors.

The investment strategies are offered as mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and segregated funds.

We’re looking for a leader who brings visionary thinking and excels in rallying and inspiring teams to win, learn and have fun.

Being highly collaborative, working well with cross-functional partners and being able to navigate and get the best out of teams in a matrix environment is essential.

Effective communication of vision and leading through people for impact will be critical to delivering results.

Responsibilities: Lead retail and institutional asset management marketing teams in Canada Develop and continually refine Manulife Investment Management’s strategy for marketing to advisors, consultants and retail and institutional investors in Canada Ensure consistent brand messaging across the business, including our deepening commitment to sustainability across our investment capabilities Ensure a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints and across all media Develop a strategy for and direct the execution of marketing campaigns designed to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) Align and coordinate initiatives, and allocate resources as needed to maximize the potency of retail and institutional marketing programs and campaigns Develop new KPIs and track existing KPIs for reporting to senior executives Develop and track a global Net Promoter Score framework for the Canadian retail and institutional business (or a measure similar in nature).
