Who we need We are adding a dynamic, growth-focused, and strategic Finance leader to lead our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function.

Reporting to the VP, Finance, this is an opportunity to partner with the senior executive and financial teams and apply your expertise supporting company-wide financial planning and analysis activities.

As we transform and build out our financial organization, we need a strategist and an executor who can take ownership for leading the day-to-day activities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has 1-2 years of investment banking and wants to transfer to a private company; someone who wants to be right-hand to the VP Finance, working closely with private equity members while planning, forecasting and budgeting.

We need a Director, FP&A with a proven record of success leading significant change through hands-on accomplishments, relationship building, collaborating with executives, financial modeling and data driven analytics.

We need someone who balances their analytical and logical mindset with a healthy dose of curiosity; someone who wants to dive deep beyond the status quo and drive effective changes that scale and establish new processes that haven’t been tried before.

What our new Director, Financial Planning and Analysis will focus on: Directing the strategy.

You will: Own and drive the execution of FP&A processes and provide financial leadership at a Corporate and market level.

Partner with leaders across the organization to develop standalone and consolidated financial forecasts at the market and consolidated level – full P&L, cash flow and balance sheet.

Support any future debt or equity financing processes through production of forecasts, presentations, and responding to due diligence requests.

Reporting.

You will produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders including the Board of Directors, investors and lenders.

You will manage the preparation of all financial reports and critical KPI’s across the business.

Designing an organizational structure.

You will establish policies, operating procedures, short and long term goals.

Driving analysis.

You will deliver insights and recommendations to our executive leadership team for strategic and operational planning decisions.

You will prepare and oversee critical analysis related to product development, business development, market expansions, pricing and business acquisitions.

Ownership of the FP&A function, including financial planning and tracking of operating expenses, headcount reporting, monthly close support, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and variance analyses.

Leading the organization.

You will: Conduct the annual operating plan process.

Execute financial forecasts.

Complete budget analyses.

Analyze results of business reviewings and conduct sensitivity and risk analysis.

Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, forecasting, planning and modeling tools.

Build scalable processes to ensure integrity in the information and data the Corporate FP&A team needs to look at company-wide trends and performance indicators.

Generating a financial package.

You will deliver a business financial package that communicates financial results in a standard format and can be leveraged by Corporate FP&A for consolidations.

So, how do we know you are the new Director, Financial Planning and Analysis?

You have: The education and experience.

A CPA, Engineering graduate or MBA.

The experience.

5 years in a Financial Planning and Analysis role.

Ideally you have exposure to cost-accounting within a mid-sized manufacturer and familiarity with logistics, supply chain, and inventory.

The technical skills.

Strong experience with MS Office with advanced Excel; data governance principles and the ability to quickly become an expert on new systems The drive.

Self-motivation, intellectual curiosity, logical thinking, and a desire to have a significant impact on the organization The interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to build relationships and the comfort to reach out to internal and external contacts to request information.
