Business Analyst – Wealth Management Ops

Address: 250 Yonge Street Job Family Group: Customer Shared Services Description: The Senior Business Analyst (Senior BA) is accountable for consulting with Wealth Management Operations stakeholder and acts as the Operations requirements lead for small to large projects.

He/she is the key client relationship manager for Operations for the duration of the project and is accountable for consulting with stakeholders to understand their goals, objectives, processes, and document requirements.

The Senior BA collaborates with the Operations and Business partners, and resources from the Project Management Office (PMO) & Information Technology (IT) to perform complex analysis and collect, clarify, & translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design, from which applications and solutions are developed.

Additionally, the Senior BA will work with stakeholders to create test cases and facilitate User Acceptance Testing, Change Management & Project Implementations.

Knowledge:
• Possesses a university degree/college diploma and/or 4 to 6 years progressive business analysis experience, supporting smaller to medium size projects
• Possesses solid business knowledge in the Finance/Banking industry
• Understands and is familiar with the application of techniques associated with process modeling & redesign, requirements gathering, data modeling, and user-centered design within the context of the organizational standards Skills:
• Demonstrates high quality writing/documentation and advanced interviewing/facilitation skills
• Possesses exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrates the ability to collaborate, build and maintain strong relationships
• Communicates easily with stakeholders in controlled situations (e.g.

one-on-one interviews, formal requirements gathering sessions, status reporting, etc.); excellent communication skills.

• Balances the demands of multiple concurrent project initiatives
• Proactive, self-managed Must Have Skills:
• Wealth Management experience including Operations
• 4-6 years of business analysis experience in the financial industry
• Strong communication and facilitation skills
• Process mapping experience
• Advanced Excel and Visio Skills Nice to Have Skills:
• Nimbus process mapping tool
• Experience working with Agile projects
• Workflow automation experience (such as AWS, TIBCO BPM)
• Experience working with HPALM, PowerPoint MS Access
• Knowledge of Broadridge , Attributes :
