If so, this Associate Investment Advisor position may be for you.

A bilingual team of Investment Advisors and Associates in Edmonton is seeking a new Associate Investment Advisor to join them.

National Bank Financial is the investment banking arm (brokerage firm) of National Bank of Canada, with combined assets of $110 billion and more than 17,000 employees worldwide Main challenges: Contribute to the growth of the business by finding new clients Contact potential clients within the firm’s policies and guidelines Provide to clients and potential clients the necessary information on financial products Manage client accounts using a predetermined and constant process that meets both the practices of the company and regulatory agencies Provide basic financial planning More specifically, you will: Make targeted calls to acquire new customers, attend networking events to increase the number of clients Implement a portfolio review process for customers, communicate regularly with customers about market changes Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practice Handbook (CPH).

Certified Financial planner (CFP) accreditation or other relevant designation is an asset (will be expected to be achieved) Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite Excellent ability to communicate by phone Able to work within a team Able to deliver professional, efficient customer service Comfortable with aggressive targets This job is well suited to someone who is: Sensitive, Nurturing, Warm, Cooperative, Helpful, Self-starter, Out-going, Dynamic, Tenacious, Ambitious Bachelor’s degree OR college degree in a discipline related to the position, such as finance or business administration Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English an asset and French required), required The Bank has innovated by modernizing its performance evaluation system to better meet our clients’ evolving needs.
