Ref ID: 05090-0011046435 Classification: Accounts Receivable Sup Mgr Compensation: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year Our client in midtown Toronto is actively seeking a full-cycle Accountant to join their team.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accountant is responsible for the full accounting cycle.

This is a standalone role, and as a result is very hands-on.

This includes accounts payable, payroll processing, accounts receivable collection, municipal tax return preparation, and vendor management.

The Accountant will also provide support for Human Resources and general office management, with one direct report.

How will you make an impact: General bookkeeping duties as specified by the CFO; Processing and managing expense reports; Contract and NDA management, as well as investigation and resolution of issues with vendors; Preparation and payment of municipal tax returns; Month end closing activities; Assist with supporting year end processes and communicating with audit team throughout audit process; Work with ADP to ensure company compliance in local, federal regulations, employee handbook updates and administer required postings; Payroll management and processing; Work with benefits insurance broker on all aspects of benefits administration; Management of human resources and legal files; Other ad hoc projects as required.

Degree or diploma in accounting or a related field, with a minimum of three years of full-cycle accounting experience; CPA designation or pursuing is an asset, but not required; Strong knowledge of QuickBooks; Experience using ADP software is an asset; Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills; Exceptional oral communication skills both verbally and written; Strong Interpersonal skills, quality management and great work ethic; Detail oriented, innovative and able to adapt to changes in the work environment.
