Job SummaryBusiness Development Manager for Eastern Canada to manage existing clients, prospect, and secure new customers, and develop new markets.Territory is defined as: Ontario and QuebecSunblest does not have an office in Ontario.

Candidate will be required to set up a home office and report to corporate headquarters in Vancouver. Detailed Functions & Responsibilities·        Complete ownership of the business development process from lead generation, sales opportunity evaluation, customer procurement, trades                how coverage to post-sales support·        Provide management with an accurate territory forecast based on prospect pipeline and market analysis (monthly, quarterly, and annual)·        Evaluate and report on new customer opportunities ·        Targeted prospecting and hunting to secure new business·        Establish, build, and maintain personal contact and friendly rapport with all customers·        Establish, build, and maintain relationships with all key decision-makers to develop a foundation/environment for future sales growth.·        Ensure that all customers are visited on a regular schedule·        Identify new products or customer service opportunities by surveying consumer needs, industry trends and tracking competitors·        Understanding current and prospective customers’ purchasing needs, business issues and buying motives·        Respond promptly to customer needs and update management on pricing, quality, or delivery issues to improve service level.·        Delivering the right solution for clients’ evolving business requirements with prompt and efficient customer service·        Develop sales strategies to improve market share across all product lines·        Attend customer meetings, trade shows, conferences as required by Management·        Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned·        Participate in weekly staff meetings as required·        Provide weekly contact reportsOur ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years’ solid sales/account management experience in the Food Service Sector, Bakery Distribution, and Industrial Food Manufacturing and has established contacts in the industryCompany Sunblest Commodities Inc. in located in Vancouver, British Columbia. We import and distribute a wide variety of Organic and Conventional Dried Fruits, Tree Nuts, Raisins, Seeds & Grains to Industrial Manufacturers, Food Service Distributors and the Bakery Sector across Canada and the Western United States. We utilize strategically located Third Party Distribution Centers to warehouse and ship our goods.
