VP Sales

This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted June 30, 2017.

Our client is an up-and-coming Canadian software company targeting engineering, supply chain, and global enterprises to allow them to integrate and collaborate with internal/external teams globally! They are looking to bring on a VP of Sales to scale a GLOBAL sales team.

About the Opportunity:

  • They are VC-funded ($8M) and currently have 28 employees (should be at 150 next year with 80% of that being in sales & marketing)
  • This sales leader will truly be a partner to the CEO, who is very experienced in the engineering/supply chain space, but knows minimal about building sales teams
  • Work with the CEO on building sales processes, pricing models/strategies, and implementing sales enablement technologies
The Mission:

  • Grow and scale a GLOBAL sales team (lead gen, AEs, outside/inside reps, etc.) with HQ being in Toronto, satellite offices in Munich and Singapore
  • Grow revenues from $125K MRR to $350K MRR by the end of 2018
  • Have significant impact on the business and work with the CEO and Board on future funding rounds
  • Have the opportunity of a lifetime – to completely BUILD an entire sales organization from the ground up!

About you:

  • Must have a proven track record of leadership activity and ideally launching new companies or offices
  • A Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
  • Must love to coach, mentor and lead a team of hungry, high performing sales reps
  • Ideally have a good grasp of the Enterprise B2B SaaS space
  • Must be independent, authentic, collaborative, and humble
  • Entrepreneurial background/mindset is essential!!
