*GTA*  My client is ready to hire a Sales Manager (key criteria…Wholesale) to join an off the charts successful start up that has captured the attention and ‘likes’ of major retailers across North America that include Indigo, Urban Outfitters and Forever 21.  They currently have relationships with 750+ stores throughout the USA and Canada.  It’s now time to hire a Sales Manager for the wholesale division to coach, mentor and grow their sales team in Toronto. This is an opportunity to take on a true leadership role! 

The company is looking to scale rapidly over the next few years. I’m in search of a Sales Manager who has a proven track record of maximizing a team’s potential! 

Key Responsibilities

  • Able to create strategies for targeting new accounts
  • Be a great motivator and mentor to the sales team – this is a young team that is eager to learn(!)  
  • Strategically assign the 750+ accounts amongst the sales team
  • Set prospecting plans in place and allocate time to shadow each team member on a weekly basis
  • Determine how accounts should be categorized – territory / business size (etc…)
  • Put plans in place to reduce response time – the company has been experiencing overwhelming interest  
  • Hold the team accountable for documenting each account within the CRM system
  • Conduct weekly sales meetings,  set performance targets and conduct annual performance reviews
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm, customer driven and professional demeanour
  • Create compensation plans + set KPI’s to achieve bonus or commission
