Social Media CoordinatorJob Summary:The Social Media Coordinator will work closely with the brand leads and agencies to help execute the Social Media strategy for Town Shoes Limited and its brands – Town Shoes, DSW, The Shoe Company, and Shoe Warehouse.This role will aid in the brands’ social media planning, activities and strategies to develop brand awareness and provide an engaging experience for our customers and followers.You are a highly motivated individual with experience and a strong passion for content strategy.You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a pulse on what’s trending.Fashion and footwear are your passion.Job Responsibilities:Partner with the brand teams to align on monthly social media calendar which includes current events, holidays etc.Utilize Facebook Account Manager for campaign set up and in the moment optimizations.Play a role in the overall strategy planning and act as key contact for agency for the execution of social media campaignsExecution of all social media activities (i.e.tweeting, posting, sharing, engaging, increasing reach, online reviews)Setting up targeting segments and executing paid media campaigns within social media platforms (primarily Facebook/Instagram) Provide regular updates on new features and capabilities in Facebook Ad Manager available to the brand teams Work within Hootsuite platform for the day-to-day operations of social media.Use your in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how users engage with each to deliver best-in-class experiencesMonitor engagement across respective social channels and engage in conversations/encourage interactions;Identify UGC and vendor content to incorporate into monthly social media calendarsProvide guidance and recommendations to the brand teams into what external conversations are happening that we can tap into, to extend our social reach organically Work in conjunction with copywriter to ensure the voice of the brands is conveyed consistently across all mediumsKnowledgeable of principles of SEO including keyword research and able to implement Social Media SEO tacticsProactively introduce new ideas and initiatives while staying current on emerging trendsAnalyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results and make recommendations for future campaigns.Monitor effective benchmarks for measurement of Social Media efforts.Monitor social networks for potential threats or opportunities in user-generated content that may negatively affect the businessWork with customer service team for additional social monitoring activitiesSpecial projects may be assigned related to social media policies/governanceA solid understanding of the overall Town Shoes Limited business strategy to ensure activities align with the online and offline strategiesSimplify, innovate and differentiate with a mandate to provide a superior social media experienceCompetencies:Team PlayerAttention to DetailResults OrientedFocuses on the CustomerAbility to handle multi-brands/multi-taskingCommitted to developing skillsetRequirements:Passion for social media, technology and the online spaceSetting priorities to maximize productivity and focused business resultsAbility to work in a dynamic and evolving team environment, utilizing interpersonal skills to manage the relationships across multiple brandsYou will grow to become an influencer
