This position is mainly responsible for providing responsive application support for all Global Derivatives Applications on a global basis. This incumbent is also get involved in application development. To join our team, you must be proactive and dynamic, demonstrate initiative, and have an eagerness to learn, and thrive on challenge. The incumbent prefer to have previous experience in Capital markets and knowledge in financial instruments, ranging from derivative products (IR, Credit, and Equity) to foreign exchange, risk management,  regulatory requirements, and end-to-end workflows for derivatives trading. Minimum of 5-7 years of industry experience. Key Accountabilities:

• Develop cost effective applications and provide technical specs and designs• Perform appliaction analysis, development and testing assignment  which includes conducting research and analysis, accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes, system development and liaising with the business analysis/users on system testing•System implementation by reviewomg other developers’ code, planning and documentation• Provide technical support to assigned applications in production and during user acceptance testing• Provide technical guidance to other team members• Excellent team player by working with cross-departmental business & IT stakeholders, ability to manage conflicts• Highly motivated and committed, capable of working in a dynamic environment with aggressive timelines, multiple work streams running in parallel Skills:•Hands-on development experience with  HTML5, MQ•Excellent on object oriented programming, 5 or more years of C++  and Java(J2EE) programming•In-depth knowledge with SQL and relational databases, data analysis ability is preferred•Programming experience with  Sybase Transact-SQL is a must•5 or more years of hands-on experience with both UNIX/Linux systems is required•5 or more years of development experience with UNIX shell scripting•Familiarity with Crystal Reports will be useful•Strong Analyticak skills•Excellent communication / presentation skills (both oral and written)•Excellent  team player by working with cross-departmental business & IT stakeholders,  ability to manage conflicts •Highly motivated and committed, capable of working in a dynamic environment with aggressive timelines, multiple work streams running in parallel.•Previous experience in models & valuation, curve conventions, P&L and/or risk management methodologies would be an asset. Educational:A recognized under-graduate degree in business, mathematics, computer science or a related discipline. Location(s):  Canada : Ontario : TorontoAs Canada’s International Bank, we are a leader when it comes to inclusion.
