Manager, Cyber Risk

Richter’s Cyber Risk Practice supports our clients to develop and improve their ability to identify, prevent, detect, respond and recover from the cyber threats and vulnerabilities that pose the greatest impact to their business. We help organizations understand what their true cyber security risk is. Using state-of-the-art tools, methodologies and approaches we develop practical and effective solutions to help our clients address their cyber security risk.

Our innovative team is growing and we are seeking a new Manager to join us. As part of Richter’s Cyber Risk National Practice you will help organization’s assess their current cyber security risk. You will combine research on the latest cyber security solutions with existing tools, methodologies and approaches to deliver high quality, practical and customized solutions. You will also be responsible for delivering a range of cyber security projects in the areas of:

  • Security strategy and planning, including cyber security roadmaps and customized control frameworks, policies, architecture and models;
  • Cyber risk gap and maturity assessment, leveraging industry recognized frameworks such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001;
  • Cyber threat detection and incident response ;
  • Gathering of functional and business requirements to help clients select cyber security technologies;
  • Implementation of cyber security solutions;
  • Conduct information technology and security due diligence.

At the same time, manage budget, scope, plans, and teams to ensure client satisfaction and project profitability.

Background & Qualifications required

  • University degree in computer science, business administration, engineering or a related field or college diploma in IT security, networking, computer science;
  • Professional designation in information security, control and governance, and digital forensics (CISSP, CISA, CISM, ENCE, GIAC Certifications);
  • 5-10 years consulting or professional service experience working in security assessments, incident response, vulnerability assessments, security architecture design, including supervisory experience;
  • Practical knowledge of security solutions including IAM, Log Management and SIEM solutions, Threat Intelligence, Firewall, Web Proxy, Anti-Virus, and Application Whitelisting products;
  • Concrete understanding of threat intelligence analysis and tools is an asset;
  • Comprehensive understanding of security incident response processes;Excellent written and oral communication skills including both technical and business writing, documentation and presentation skills;
  • Solid project management skills;
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Equipped to present and promote ideas and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
